laurajohnson > 1-26-08 I was digging through an old box and found these -- my old ballet pointe shoes. It's been years since I even wore them. It was once my dream to be a ballerina, and this dream did not come true for me but still holds a very precious spot in my heart. I haven't done a black and white for a daily photo yet, and I thought this really ought to BE black and white...sort of a nostalgic touch, I thought. I did also include a color version of it. And, in a way, this is dedicated to ARF -- who asked if there was anything I DIDN'T do. ;-) To answer your question, yes. This is one art form that I no longer possess the ability for. I might have once, but it is now only the memory of a dream.
